WAREHOUSE INVENTORY / LOGISTICS SPECIALIST
$16.90/hr.
PAY RANGE: $16.90 Hourly
POSITION DURATION: Temp-to-hire
NUMBER OF POSITIONS: 2
LOCATION: Calexico
SCHEDULE: 8:00am – 5:00pm
(But must be flexible. A weekend may be required occasionally with notice.)
Position Summary:
Hiring an experienced Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist. Must be Fully Bilingual (speak, read, write), computer literate with experience in Microsoft Excel. Good customer service is essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inventory Tracking:
- Monitoring incoming and outgoing inventory, recording stock movements, and identifying discrepancies. Must have import export documentation experience.
- Cycle Counting:
- Performing regular physical counts of inventory items to verify accuracy against system records.
- Inventory Ordering:
- Analyzing demand and placing purchase orders with vendors to maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Data Management:
- Updating inventory management systems with accurate stock information and generating reports on inventory levels and trends.
- Quality Control:
- Inspecting incoming shipments for damage or defects and reporting issues
- Auditing and Reconciliation:
- Conducting periodic inventory audits to identify discrepancies and resolve issues
- Vendor Management:
- Communicating with suppliers regarding deliveries, pricing, and stock availability
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Generating inventory reports to identify areas for improvement and inform purchasing decisions
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
1-year minimum operating as a logistics specialist.
Licensing:
A valid drivers’ license issued by the State of California, Department of Motor Vehicles is required
